not really. I just start monitors for SOME sessions, with sessionId's by
guess. IMO MicroSoft QuickHelp (an OS/2 1.3 Monitor) does it the same way.

I'm starting a keyboardMonitorThread for currentScreenGroup, cSG+1,cSG+2,...cSG+n.

then the next n sessions have this monitor attached. and when you close one
and open another, it has it too).
