I use it for ftp, for local web stuff, for Samba (linux program that allows for sharing resource under linux with the w98 box), and for all sorts of other stuff. JP> I have not seen 3.11 in ages and I am no spring chicken. I had it installed on one box, but that box was getting a little cramped on its 80M HD, and I never completed the upgrade to the new 170M drives I put a couple of in there. It got supplanted by what was then the w95 box (since upgraded to 98). Maybe one of these days I'll get back to it. I've never messed with w2k here, and have only ever actually *seen* it in the past couple of weeks. No intentions of going there, either. ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
