Neither can I, but it's more than likely that the later SDL did help. 
After all, that's the whole point of flash-ROM.

You obviously don't read the Netcomm_Support echo then.  I'm sure their
M34F is the best modem they've produced to date, but that still doesn't say
a lot.  You've obviously never owned a Netcomm though, otherwise you
wouldn't even be considering buying another one.  And wait until you need
support.  ROFL!
