-=> Quoting Timo Sirainen to All <=- TS> How can I make an OS/2 program (fullscreen or PM) which can't be TS> quit, like "Lockup" in Lauchpad? The trick is to have the program not show in the task list. I accidentally did this when attempting to learn PM application program. When I used CTRL-ESC to activate the task list, the program I wrote was not listed, However WatchCat proved that I had 3 instances of it running accidentally. If you make a PM application, the WinCreateStdWindow function in C has a parameter for the frame style, which you use things like FCF_TITLEBAR, FCF_SIZEBORDER, and FCF_TASKLIST. If you omit FCF_TASKLIST, it won't show up as an active program in the tasklist. I am a novice, and I found this out by mistake so don't ask for any more details because I won't be able to give you an answer. --- Blue Wave/OS2 v2.30 [NR]* Origin: Surrounded By Cows - Calgary, Alberta - (403)255-4212 (1:134/65) SEEN-BY: 50/99 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 955 SEEN-BY: 712/407 515 517 628 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 134/65 17 3615/50 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 934 |
