What all do you guys use for testing memory? I have a few assorted diagnostic-type programs on hand here, but many of them are pretty dated and won't test large amounts of memory at all. One I can recall seemed to only go up to 16M or so. And none of them are terribly thorough about it. I've been getting more and more frustrated with the stuff happening on this machine I've been trying to do things with, and need to verify that the ram is either good or not. I have a 486 here with dos/win3 on it and can use that as a test fixture if need be. The sizes I have on hand here are range from 4M to 32M per stick. Any suggestions? ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
