Agreed, and very much so.  Indeed, the vast majority of my MIDI apps are
Windows-based will ONLY run properly under native Windows.  There are
apparently none coded for the OS/2 API.  A pity, too.

Exactly, although I'm a bit disappointed that whilst USR mention the
necessity of storing the baud rate to NVRAM with &W, they don't
adequately explain why this is necessary with their modems.
