CH> I have a PDR in my notebook that can identify most any
HUH? Every PDR I've ever seen has been about 12"X8"X4"
CH> prescription drug; and there are other sources (as Rich
CH> told you) that would allow an officer to determine the type
CH> of drug in question.
I just noticed something this morning. Let me describe
two of the pills I take in the mornings.
The first is unmarked, no printing or stamps. It is
light orange, oval shaped and approx. 3/4" long, 7/16"
wide and 7/16" thick.
The second is unmarked, light pink and oval shaped. It
is approx. 9/16" long, 3/8" wide and 3/16".
I'll tell you right now there is no way you are going
to ID them w/o a lab. I'd be willing to bet that very
few pharmacist would even try much less be able to ID
them by site. You MIGHT be able to determine what they
aren't with a field kit. IOW, they wouldn't test
positive for opiates or what ever.
So if I had a bug up my butt about the police and/or
the ZT policy and wanted to pull your chain by not
telling you what they were what would you do? Arrest
me right?
Let us say that there is a ZT policy in effect that
says anyone caught carrying drugs that can not be IDed
is to be arrested. The PC being the pills. Ok lets
say that one day I show up with a bag of the orange
pills. You follow the rules and arrest me. I go to
court and show that the pills are legal. The next day
you stop me the next day with a bag of the pink pills.
Off to court I go and free when I show that the pills
are legal. The next it is a bag of round white pills.
Same song and dance.
The fourth day you seem me sitting with a bag of pills.
You KNOW that the pills are going to turn out to be
legal but what do you do? Well if it wasn't for the ZT
policy you would just go on your way looking for a
criminal. But because of the ZT policy you HAVE to
arrest me again. And again and again. Even though you
KNOW that I'm doing it just to screw with the system
but because I'm using the system to choke itself there
is nothing you can do about it.
BTW, what are these mystery pills?
