MASM 6.0 does not really support OS/2. In fact, the developers writing NT
were originally running under OS/2 1.3, and MASM 6.0 was intended for that
specialized environment. For this reason, IBM considers the last official
MASM version to have OS/2 support as 5.1, and this is what IBM uses to
build OS/2 itself and the DDK libraries and tools.

While MASM 6.0 will host under OS/2, it should be understood that it was
created in a period of transition when Microsoft's "OS/2 3.0"
project was becoming the NT project, and support for OS/2 targets has a few
problems.
