  Ah yes, now I remember... didn't Romero work on the Keen series after a 
series of suspicious fan letters from Scott Miller?
  By the way, I've always been curious... was there ever a hint of bitterness 
when id decided to leave Apogee and then promply developed one of the best 
games of all time?  I imagine that, if there was any, it's been softened 
somewhat by a certain 3D game based on a 2D game's main character.
