Hi, Paul. PE> FM> Well, back to slow this morning. 3 times, same result. Then as I PE> started PE> FM> to d/l the mail, I kept getting "data sub-packet too long". I was PE> FM> obviously going to take nearly 100 years to d/l, so aborted. About to PE> FM> try again. PE> I could see the resends on the 3rd attempt. You connected with PE> MNP instead of LAPM (V42) on that attempt BTW. Not very nice. PE> And I'm loathe to blame you for running under Windows and PE> missing interrupts, because it is 1200 bps and you normally PE> handle 19200 bps without problem. BFN. Paul. Yeah and that's still the case, and was then, and now the problem's gone away. Which is good from a FIM POV, but not good from a trying-to-fix-it -or-at-leas-find-the-cause POV.
