Hi Richard,
About "DOS box on modern Net" of 2007-Dec-17:
MS> I guess some people like to exagerate.
RW> I know I could do dial-up internet...
I wonder how you got the impression that i was writing about Dial-Up, my
connection is through DSL (6016/512 Kbps Interleaved) and has been for a
couple years now. Here's what i had in mind, you just need to register:

{Commo} proven versatile, DOSInterNet, 2007-Nov-11
Well, those are pictures so i'm not sure if you can appreciate what that
was about but it shows that the same dialer can do three things: make a
connection to local BBSes, dial up to an ISP and install a PPP driver or
load the Packet-Driver for an NIC and configure your WatTCP environment,
euh... Oups! I forgot a fourth one: to TelNet to some remote BBSes...
