I've never heard of it.  There are hundreds of small towns through the
valley though so its not real surprising.  I always wonder if
parents who name their kids things like that secretly hate their kids.
Well there is rain in the forecast again I hope it misses. The Tuolumne
is still 3' above flood and the Merced River is also still above flood.
The bridge I use to cross all the time will be closed until the flood
waters are gone then they will see if they can fix it.
