| subject: | TCP/IP in OS/2? |
Hallo Eric, Eric Theriault schreef dit aan Jorgen De Gier: JDG>> Could I remind you that IBM Visual Age C++ has a Windows version? JDG>> That way you can develop under OS/2 and recompile under Win95. At any rate, do you ET> know of any "Competitive Upgrade" for Visual Age? IBM does have a competive upgrade, I used it. It's about $130 cheaper ( I think). Borland does make a Os/2 version of their OWL, but my experiences with it are not too good. The only thing it did was crash. If you buy Visual Age C++ for OS/2, you can get the Windows version with a discount. I haven't tried the Windows version yet, as I don't own W95 nor NT (yet). Maybe I'll wait for the next versions. I suppose they will be released after Merlin. Btw. the TCP/IP Toolkit is located in the MPTNTK.ZIP archive on the Warp Connect CD-ROM, just like the Winsock docs.
