subject: list of othernets

>> at one time, there was a listing of othernets being posted here... nowdays,
>>there's nothing but the same old tired ads each and every day for the same
>>old networks... does anyone have a list of actually live othernets and their
>>information??

been there, done that.. no joy at all... too limited and no real search
scope... in fact, it hardy turned up anything... i ended up manually going
thru all the listed networks and found only a small bit of the info i was
seeking... mainly, that was the FTN zone numbers being used and several of
them didn't even list them in their info packs... mostly i had to resort to
pulling in the nodelists and looking in them... quite frustrating and thus
resulting in my post...

apologies if the above comes across "harsh"...
