I define "Windows users" as being those people who make the
choice that Windows must be their operating environment, regardless
whatever else may be available anywhere else in the world. Anyone else
isn't so tied to Windows. In the course of 24 hours, I'll use OS/2, DOS (a
few versions), Windows (a few versions), MacOS (a few versions) and UNIX (a
few versions); I'm certainly not a "Windows user", as it's not
my choice to be using it.

They are focused on the app, not the environment.

*Bingo* - my point exactly; some people will see the problem, others won't.

Some people will see the problem, others won't. Same thing. Not everyone
uses their modem/computer/whatever in exactly the same way.

Smarting? I'm right and he's wrong - what's the problem? *shrug*
