G'day Ron, 29 Oct 96 07:59, Ron T Lewis wrote to Rod Gasson: RG> RTL>> Arfur just bought himself a new bmw'yu.. As I mentioned before, if you call paying arfur $30-$50 (at a guess) for sending your machine to someone else for the actual repair 'good service' then that is your opinion. A lot of my repairs are carried out for less than his inflated courier fee. I do a lot of work for the arfurs in my area and it still saddens me at how much they effectively "rip off" customers like you, all in the name of "service". I respect your opinion in that you don't think he is ripping you off, but if you are foolish enough to pay inflated courier fees in the name of 'service' then that is your problem, not mine or arfurs... he is still laughing all the way to the BMW car yard, and I'm still making quite a respectable income out of doing repairs for the likes of him. It is you, and others like you that lose out. I have nothing to gain by telling you this stuff. Whether you make use of this knowledge, or continue to be taken for a ride, is your choice.
