G'day Vicki,


It's 10:45am on 31 October and I just went to the kitchen for a cup of
coffee.  I glanced outside the window and saw little white things
falling from the sky.  I'd hoped maybe someone shot a pigeon and I was
seeing the debri, but no go.  I stood there in utter shock horror and
said aloud (to no one, but with a nice Aussie accent) "It's bloody
snowing!" I said a few other things too....

So in the process of pouring my coffee, and putting the milk and sugar
in, I stopped between steps to stare in disbelief at what I was seeing.
Came back in the office and I still couldn't believe it.  How DARE it
snow.  I didn't want to see that ever again and here it is coming out
of the sky a full month early!   The bastards!

So then, coz I was still sure I was just hallucinating, without a coat
on I stepped outside and because it had stopped for a minute (probably
to confuse me), I convinced myself I'd gone right off.  But when I
turned to walk back inside . . . one of the little buggers landed on
my arm!!  For a brief second I saw it's pretty little snowflake design
before it winked out of existence. To which I muttered "Onya mate and I
hope you're bloody mates piss orf too," and walked back inside.
Bloody Oath!

Methinks I'll have Vegemite on toast for brekkie to ward off the evil
little flakes.

Added later:

It worked!!   I had a Vegemite sandwich whilst browsing Kev Wilson's
home page and....  the sun came out, the clouds went away and the
flakes have quit.  :-)   Wow!!!
