It does actually, and sends the OK back at that speed, and
then mindlessly uses the &W speed for no good reason at all.

I dont believe the other ones do that. The Hayes doesnt, the Supra doesnt,
the Spirit doesnt. I have yet to see any modem do that except a USR.

Welp, it doesnt on atleast three that I have personally tested.
Including a Hayes.
