This ride is one of our most popular. Come ride roller-coaster singletr

at Hodges Village Land Management area in Oxford. Beginners are always
welcome. Steve will divide the group based on ability. This is a real
mountain bike ride over steep, narrow trails festooned with roots, rocks
,
mud, loose sand, fallen logs and other fun features. Hybrids and
low-quality department store bikes (Huffys, Murrays, etc.) won't survive
the
abuse and are definitely not recommended. HELMET MANDATORY!!!

Come join us for a fun-filled ride through the best scenery of MetroWest

Pass peaceful horse farms, rivers, ponds and reservoirs, as well as
historical sights. Short ride includes the towns of Framingham, Sudbury

Lincoln and Wayland. (Please note: The two rides do not share a common
lunch stop.) The long ride adds Concord. Places of interest include t
he
Wayside Inn Grist Mill, Concord Center, National Historic Park, Walden P
ond,
the DeCordova Museum (Sculpture Garden!), Drumlin Farm, Heard Pond. Gre
at
bagels and ice cream available post-ride. There is approximately 1 mile
of
hard-packed dirt road on the routes; road tires will suffice. This is a
joint ride with the Charles River Wheelmen.

FROM THE EAST: Take Route 9 west. Approximately 1 mile past Route 126
(Staples), bear right at Route 30 split. Take a right at first traffic
