Think that's bad...
Win95 sure did something weird... Was up at 2am and watched the
computer jump back 1 hour. No problem. I clicked the "OK" button,
noticed that the mailer noted the new time and trundled off to bed. :-)
Next morning, that SAME box had re-appeared (as I leave the computer on
but kill the monitor) and it wanted me to "OK" the fact Win95 had
adjusted the time.... AGAIN!!!! Seeing I hadn't clicked OK, it sat
there till the morning TWO hours back instead of one... Now... Had I
sat there each 2am and clicked "OK".... Sheesh!
On to something more appropriate...
Has anyone successfully installed WP6.0 for DOS under Win95?
Experimented with a copy of 6.1 for Windows but the DeskJet 500 won't
print envelopes. WP for Windows sensed that an envelope had been
installed, ejected it and refused to properly form feed regular paper.
WP 6.0 dos does this correctly, but runs slower than molasses.
Got rid of the Windows 6.1 version as it didn't do what I wanted.
Comments? Most notably, from DeskJet 500 owners...
