Yeah, you're crazy. But aren't we all?
Frankly I'd rather be riding my bike than messing with tubulars. If I have a
flat with clinchers, it is easy enough to fix no matter where I am and I'm on
my way in a matter of a few minutes. With clinchers I'd be stuck.
Clinchers make sense for pro racers. When they have a flat, their mechanic
rolls up with a new wheel and they replace the whole wheel. (And, of course,
the mechanic gets to fix the flat. ) Most of use don't enjoy that luxery.
