JL> Now I will show my ignorance. - What is an ACCELTABLE, and acn you

You put resources in the .RC file and put the .RC file in your project.
Resources are things like:
ACCELTABLE - is the list of keys that your program uses. For example,
Ctrl-O to open a file, F3 to exit the program, etc...).
MENU - is part of the frame window, below the title bar.
ICON, BITMAPS and POINTERs - any icons, etc... your program uses.
There are other things that can go in the .RC file, but I haven't used
all of them.
EDM/2 probably has examples with .RC files.
You may also want to get a good book, I recommend "OS/2 Presentation
Manager Programming" by Petzold. This is a good book for beginners.
Real World Programming is also another good book, but can be a bit heavy
for the beginner.
