   It may not be your system, but there is certainly something going on... 
I've been seeing the same kind of thing as Bob, in that your domain name is 
not
resolving...  An error like as follows shows up in the log:

No IP Address for glonet.co.nz:  Non-Authoritive:  Host not found.

   Also can't do lookups directly on that name;  instead get the following
error message:

Connection Timed Out; no servers could be reached.

   Since I can do lookup on other domain names with no problem, that leads me
to wonder about if there is a top level dns server issue somewhere...
