Well guys... it looks like food fascism is now becoming a big-time
issue... It appears that your preferences for how to prepare a steak
at a restaurant will NOT include rare, & possibly even medium-rare.
It seems to be a "health" issue having to do with getting the meat
hot enough when cooked ... So, I guess it would also rule out Steak
Tartar... Being Jewish (Jews are forbidden by the Scriptures to eat
meat with any blood still in it), I prefer my steak medium, so this
sort of nonsense will not affect me... However, I think if a person
wants to enjoy their steak rare/medium-rare, that it is THEIR right
to choose -- the government has no business meddling in this area...
On a related note: How many of you think that the Budweiser Frogs
will now replace Joe Camel as the next Great Evil we will have to
abolish to "save the children"? I can see the government doing to
the alcoholic beverage industry what they have done to tobacco --
anyone else care to weigh-in on this issue?
