But Julia, dear, all those octagons are are a bunch of straight lines
(short ones, yes, but still straight lines!) that go in different
directions! hehehe! I know exactly what you mean! I have tried a
few different blocks out lately to see how I did and the Grandmother's
Flower Garden one will sit here for a loooong time before I make any
more to go with it!
I didn't do too badly with the Log Cabin, the Friendship Star and the
appliqued heart, although the heart is a bit lopsided where I got a
little carried away and cut too far into the fabric for the needleturn
margin, but the rest of them are going to be a real embarrassment to
me if anyone sees them except Tom. :)
