Getting 33.6K isn't all that bad really. I use a 33.6K modem on
my W31 setup here and it's quite useable even for rather large
downloads since there are two lines here and I'm not tied up
waiting on it to finish. :-) 

Typical informational browsing is just reading screens after
they finally decide to stop loading (sloppy webmasters with too
many graphics). I use OPERA on my W31 and can turn off graphics
loading with just a 'click' at the bottom of the screen. ;-)
