I have had all of the above brands Curtis.
Yaesu dual-band HT's I found to be too intermod prone and a bit clumsy to
program the memories in. ( I had an FT-470 )
My Alinco DJ-580 served me well before the PLL blew.
I now use a TH-79A and love it.
It has most of the same features as my TM-732A mobile and is perfect for
doing
cross-banding (better audio than the Yaesu) and dual-band/in-band listening.
The reciever in it is very good and not much intermod comes thru on the
standard rubber duck it comes with.
My only gripe was the speaker in the radio was less clear for my ears,so I
got
a commercial speaker mic for it and it improved the sound.
I've had it for about a year now and it is my main radio for the mobile in
town with a 1/4 mag-mount.
