And _what_ does a B average in HS mean these days?
By definition, it means the kid has one A for every C he got. That means
his weak performance in two math courses can be balanced by two A's in phys
ed.
Of course, you have plenty of B average students. In my experience, few
college-bound kids get anything less than a B in HS, even though many soon
show they are abysmally prepared for college. Do they deserve scholarships?
