Hi Michiel. Mon 26 Dec 2005 12.36 You wrote to Elmo Jensen Subj. was: Roll Call MVDV> I don't want the message base to grow forever. So I have set Ftools to MVDV> delete messages when they reach a certain age or if there are more then MVDV> so many messages in an area. This works for the Hudson base, but MVDV> messages in the Jam areas are not deleted. It just keeps growing. I can see in one of your others mails you have get it to work by removing the /h switch and thats right. The /h switch specify the ftools to only do maintenance on Hudson areas!! If you have used the /j switch (as another writer says he did), so you have do maintenance on Jam areas only. In the Fmail.doc file Folkert say, that in most cases the string: FTOOLS MAINT /D /P /R /N /O works very well, but because you use OT/Track to your netmail areas, so you don't have to use the /N switch. Place the rest of the switches in your batch-files, so you get a full maintenance of both your Hudson and Jam areas. MVDV> I use OT/Track for netmail. Thats a good program. I have used it before when I have 6-7 networks running, but now I only use Ftools with the /N switch.
