   What is on the slip is not really important.  The store's computer 
has all that data in easily readable form.  And many times that data 
_IS_ sent to the credit card company.  There is BIG money in mailing 
lists and your credit card company makes millions providing 
specialized lists such as computer/component buyers and I'll have to 
assume that applies to firearm and related purchases.
