| subject: | Re: `Pop-up` w/Batches? |
Ken Hrynchuk wrote the following to All, and I quote (in part): KH> "Your pop-up program is ready to run. When you have finished using KH> it, press Ctrl+C to close this window and return to Windows." KH> KH> I've tried everything I can think of (.PIF settings, .BAT tricks) to KH> prevent the above from occurring; does anyone know how to stop it? Not I said the little red hen. I hope you get a better answer than I can give you. I have the same problem in one batch file. I really have no idea what causes it. A wild guess would be a DOS program that runs in protected mode. I get around the problem with a keyboard stuffer. If you have one you might give it a try. Mine looks like this: kpush 3 CR 3 I like kpush because it is not a TSR. You will find it in HORST32.ZIP available at http://home.mnet-online.de/horst.muc. Good luck, Charles ...
