Hello Roy. 30 Aug 03 12:06, you wrote to me: RT> Not bad. Right now I'm seeing stuff under 1G selling for around that RT> price. However, it can be gotten around if you're using Linux. I know OS/2, DOS, and Windows cannot handle it. They are far too married to the BIOS. But then there's the details of upgrading, RT> etc. which we're probably better off taking up elsewhere. I doubt you'll find too many upgrades for 8.1. You shouldn't have to upgrade but if you want ext3 to behave better then e2fsprogs should be upgraded. I'd also recommend pkgtools as the new one is a tad better. Other then that you should be fine. Maybe USB if that is an issue. Maurice --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.4.7* Origin: Pointy Stick Society XIV (1:261/38.9) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
