Hello Roy.

30 Aug 03 12:06, you wrote to me:

That happens.

A couple. Mind you they all seem to tie into each other somehow or
another. That is handy when it happens.

It is most definetly a problem. However, it can be gotten around if you're
using Linux. I know OS/2, DOS, and Windows cannot handle it. They are far
too married to the BIOS.

I doubt you'll find too many upgrades for 8.1. You shouldn't have to
upgrade but if you want ext3 to behave better then e2fsprogs should be
upgraded. I'd also recommend pkgtools as the new one is a tad better.
Other then that you should be fine. Maybe USB if that is an issue.
