I haven't the foggiest of what kinda bee got under her bonnet, but
that's her problem, not mine. I think the folks are a little disarmed
by my frank assessment of their behaviour these days.

We tried to find an address in Regina, where I was driving, and mom
was navigating us into dead end, after dead end. Turmoil hit the fan,
and I suggested a little quiet time alone might be in order. My Aunt
even heard the story, where mom parlayed how troubled she was at my
anger. Fed up, yes, but angry... I only got angry when she wouldn't
shut the hell up.

Next time, I go solo!

 JB> Whatever!

AH> Okay... maybe it wouldn't. Just an idea.... :-)

Good idea at that, but I'm a little too stubborn for those. No, I'm
still batching the outings, but the nap after usually finds me a
little more functional than it used to. Little victories...

 AH> I see. A busman's holiday, eh?? :-)

What is that? The pro always ends up sober and driving the belligerents
around?

No, I didn't mind working for my buddy. It's a reciprocal thing. I
tapered off the second day, and rested at home for the remainder of
the week.

JB> You get too familiar with the 'wedded bliss' and I need

AH> A "Honeydew" list and/or a chance to talk to you

"Honey, do this." ???

This was the same woman, who was trying to set me up, until I faxed my
latest song lyric to them. I suspect she read it, as I'm not the
centre of attention like I used to be. {-|[

AH> Thankyou. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....

 JB> Payment in kind.

AH> Or, what goes around comes around.... :-)

That's a cycle I'm trying to break. O-8*

JB> award, I can't tell you, but I'll bet had more humour

AH> I'll bet you did too! IIRC it was a school day, and we went

At the risk of sounding crass, I didn't mean to suggest I found the
attacks funny, or at all humorous, but what *was* funny, is we were
staying at my sisters' second residence at the time. I think I
mentioned earlier, that I was up in a bout of pain, and listening to a
radio I had brought from Calgary. (Big issue from dad, that I brought
a radio BTW.)

Dad's sleeping through it all, so I wrote him a note to the effect:

"Two planes hit the World Trade towers. One collapsed. We have no TV!"
and I left it in the washroom. Where's the fist place dad went?

AH> I was impressed by the Queen's response to the bombings in
AH> London... a city which has been bombed more often than I can count
AH> within her own lifetime. If the terrorists have something
AH> to say there, they'll need to find better ways to
AH> communicate. I gather the IRA have finally got the
 AH> picture, anyhow.... :-/

Pretty brilliant! That monarchy's conquesting history aside, it's
nice to know she's using the platform for some good... Finally.

PS: I read the other day, el ki'aida Muslems are trying to stear their
idiots to Bukingham Palace these days. Will they never learn?

JB> The world is alright, but we have to make it that way.

AH> Agreed. Sounds to me like a good tagline too.... :-)

Too obvious. I like the one, (In case I can't find it.) "God is
listening. He wants nothing to do with it."

PS: How about:

"The world is alright. We just better stop fouling it up." ???
