I was told these were worth around $400 Canadian apiece.  They seem to be
able to handle the hydraulics on the wheelchair as well as it motors along
at a pretty decent speed.  In comparison to my plan for them I think I'll
hardly put a dent in them.  We'll see.

Could be.  I looked all over the battery for some specs but most of the
info on it centers around safety issues and date stamps.  Other then it is
12V I can't say much more about them right now. I'll find out.
