subject: How does one APAR OS/2 ?

Mike,
I received the following concerning DIVE but I think most graphics
programmers are confused on how one REPORTS a bug to IBM:

I realize that most bugs are user errors but still I beleive it's
important for these DIVE people to learn how to REPORT an
error and obtain an APAR (I think that is the term). Real time
video on the Internet is coming fast for all database programmers -
your customers will be viewing your products - not just reading
about them - Maybe the DIVE programmers are correct that IBM
isn't interested or maybe they just reported the "bugs" in the wrong
  way !

Jeffrey, The whole list of DIVE bugs was handed to an IBM manager.
He recieved a total of (I think) 3 APARS for this list of bugs.
IBM just isn't interested. If I find the buglist at home I'll mail it to you.

How should have the above been handled ?

  Thanks,
