All of the squish functions are called indirectly through a function
pointer.  This is not supported by the real pascal language,  but may be by
your compiler.  Is it?

The actual calling convention is "_System",  the same calling
convention that you use to call an OS/2 function.

I didn't like the whole through-function-pointer idea,  but at one time
Scott was planning on writing a "squish tsr" for dos,  and that
is the way it had to be done for that.
