A Schwinn Voyageur Touring Bicycle that I sold a few years ago is 
missed, now that I think about a self-contained trip.  Replacing a 
bicycle that was so comfortable, lightweight, and could carry bags 
front and rear is not easy today.  Cannondale, Raleigh, and Trek have 
candidates, and I see the Bob Jackson frames in Nashbar and Bruce 
Gordon import on the Internet.
I am a high-mileage rider and seek comfort in a bicycle.  Can anyone 
let me know their experience with any currently available model of a 
true touring bicycle?
