I'm trying to find a music program as easy, simple & short as MTS.EXE ,
but without its drawbacks.  I LIKE MTS.EXE (Music Transcription
System), Shareware. MTS.EXE plus 8 help files + many song files
occupied less than 360 Kbytes on a 5 1/4 floppy, UNcompressed.  It can
compose play, edit & print FAST & EASY witha PC keyboard.  Its
drawbacks are 1) Can't create triplets, so have to write them in 3/8
time. 2) No 9/8 or 12/8 time.  3) Can't write above high C. 4) Can't
keyboard above F#, top line.  Have to chromatic up for higher notes. 5)
Ties aren't smooth.   If anyone knows of another Shareware program as
fast, easy & simple, with low disc kbyte reqt, that corrects these
drawbacks, please let me know.  MTS works with my std PC audio, CGA
color, DOS & ordinary PC graphics.  Please, SAP.  Sincerely, Al
