Hi Jim,
It appears that your problem is the Win95 network capture that
your son is doing. Win95 will allow multiple Win95 programs to
access the same port through TAPI. But, it will NOT allow Win16
or DOS apps to access the port once the port is assigned to a
Win95 app, and vice versa.
What you need to do to eliminate the boot problem is have
administrator control on your system which would allow you to
remove the network access/control of your modem when you want to
run Telemate.
