Valery has an attorney!  A real attorney!  Someone who is willing to point
out every single mistake that CPS has made, every lie they have told, every
misrepresentation of the facts, and anything else he can find that they did
wrong.  Thank goodness!  The attorney has been working with VOCAL people
for quite a while, and is willing to do what it takes to get our daughter
home and to get CPS out of our lives for good.  Luckily, the "key witness" 
for our side can't be at the trial on 6/23, so we will HAVE to get a 
continuance - this means that Val's attorney will have time to go over 
everything and prepare a strong case.  Thank goodness.  This is the break 
we have been needing all along.  I don't think the court realized what 
they did for us when they gave Val defacto parent status and said she 
could retain an attorney.    I'm sure they didn't count on me having 
some stock put away (not much, but enough) so I just cashed it in so Val 
could finally have someone to represent her.    This is all starting 
to come along nicely.  I'll keep ya posted.  Hopefully Val's attorney  
can get the gag order lifted tomorrow and she'll be able to talk again.
Boy, that would be nice.
