While I have never used AOL, I have NOT heard many "good" things about them,
but LOTS of complaints, usually about billing, but also about their
policies.  I'm not on the net yet (I won't have a machine with windoze
until tomorrow night), but I'm planning on going with a local ISP, which
is much more reasonable (this particular one has no set-up fee, provides
free software and tech support, a local number with multiple lines, and
offers UNLIMITED full access for $10.00 a month).
