  There's probably a PCI card, though quite frankly it probably wouldn't 
matter.  Joysticks don't send out much data as it is.

  No problem.  Is the game in question "Aliens Ate my Babysitter?"  That was 
the last Keen game, and so it probably had a more updated joystick routine.  
If it isn't that game, then I'm out of ideas.
