        I'm repeating myself an awful lot in this thread.  LANTastic *HAS*
been removed from the working system, at least as far as deleting all the
references in Config.Sys and removing all the folders/icons having to do
with LANTastic/2.  It works on neither system.
 
 PF> Boot up to your maintenance desktop and run your test from there.

        I'll try it.
