Congrats, you actually kept your wife longer than your car!   I hope i'll 
be able to do that someday, my MOM is  about ready to throw me out because of 
all the parts i have scattered around t he garage! LOL
What 'pulls' me, i think is the old style; there were not many two cars 
like.
 Not like nowadays "Is that a Camry, Taurus or a Cavalier?".  And if they 
ere
alike, like the ealry 60's Buick Olds Pontiac compacts, at least they had 
defining features like hoods grilles or interiors even!
Not only that, but they're easier to work on, to understand than these 
computer controlled spacecraft we drive around.
The styling is a large portion of it, of course.  It kind of connects you 
ith
the past (plus you get lots of attention!).
They don't make cars as big anymore, as powerful anymore or as distinctive 
anymore.  What kind of car you select definately is a reflection upon your 
personality!
