Because of nit-picking idiots like Klahn I very, very rarely use the word "all". I use it when I'm talking about a soap opera that I watch called All My Children because it is part of the title of the show. I grew up with 8 older brothers I heard often enough as a child "you said we could have all your cookies". When in reality the day before I had offered my cookies to them because I wasn't feeling well. Obviously I didn't mean "you guys can have all my cookies for ever", but they'd try and tease me into saying that was what I meant. I use the word all when I refer to something they all did. They all protected me at different times. They all checked out boys who wanted to date me from time to time. By that I mean they didn't all go around asking questions about one boy; Bob would start, Bill would see about the next one, James was toughest he'd actually corner a guy and ask his intentions for his "baby sister" (that used to bother me a lot when I was a kid, but my brothers who are still living call me that today and it gives me a sentimentally warm feeling). Funny how time changes some things from bad to good. Suffice it to say that I didn't say you can't erase *ALL* DVDs, Bobby is simply trying to win a point that he never can because he started on a sand foundation. -- L'Chaim, Mimi fcpnmimi(at)cox.net http://www.myspace.com/fcpnmimi St. Gregory, 4th century Bishop of Nanianzus, wrote: "A little jargon is all that is necessary to impose on the people.
