My last cat was allowed to go in and out the window whenever he liked --
so he'd go out and chase butterflies, birds, etc., but always came in to
get his food dish & to use the litterbox! (stupid thing would NOT go
outside!) (would've been nice if he'd helped out his rent-payer by
cutting down on the Litter bills, but nooooo!) :P

I've had several friends who had several cats each, but none that were
actully THEIRS -- they just had an open window or something & certain
cats got in the habit of coming in to eat, cuddle, sleep, or whatever on
a regular basis!  Never known any to give birth, though! :)
