BH>netmail or email message. I should warn you, I only have a few, and
BH>able to get you some small babyfood jars if you would like.
If it's only a few, can they wait until the mint comes out? Baby
food jars are usually either too small or the lids don't seal
well. The 2" ones are too small. The 3 12" jars are a terrific
size, but don't come with screw-cap lids.
I've been having a great deal of success, jams and fruits, with
using old jam or jelly screw-top jars for preserving. They seal
well and make decent size servings for gifts etc.
BH>By the way, I have several egg cartons that I also want to get rid of.
BH>more. I also don't have a composter and even if I did, I wouldn't know
BH>if I could put them in it either.
I tear my PAPER egg cartons into one-inch chunks and pop them in
the composter. They are possibly the best material available for
bedding for the red-wriggler worms I employ.
If I had FOAM cartons, I'd still tear them into one-inch chunks,
but then I'd pop them in the blender with a cup of water to make
my polystyrene foam soil pellets.
If you want an indoor composter, I could bring one down with me.
I have a couple lying empty right now, with a third one due to be
empty in the next month.
I sent you a Private FidoNet mail that should have go through.
