Hi James... One suggestion... Lose the Psychos... They are rated very poorly
by just about anyone who has ever ridden them (On a great Web Site I have
been to I think it is http://www.mtbr.com)
My suggestion is to run don't walk to your nearest bike store and snatch up a
pair of velociraptors. These are great tires (there are probably quite a few
that are as good or better, but my friends and I really like these). The back
tire is like a paddle wheel, great for grabbing and digging in on the uphill
stuff.
(looking back at your post, it looks like you HAVE tried these... What else
have you tried and liked? What else would you say to stay away from?)
My experience with the Psychos (came stock on my trek) was that they offered
little control, they were poor at grabbing when I needed it over some
technical UPhill stuff like rocks or roots etc, and they wore out FAST.
Cheers!
