It's not that uncommon a name - just means Jerome,
Gieronymus, Gerome, Jerry, maybe Jeron.

Anyone who gives you the line that it's a natively
native name is giving you a load of Bosch.

Speaking of which, if the Kremlin had supercomputers
back in the '60s, would Khrushchev had said We will
Barry you?

Indian fry bread
categories: celebrity, starch, native, Arizona, Navajo
yield: 1 batch

3 c white flour
3 Tb baking powder
2 Tb salt
warm water to make soft dough
lard

There is nothing I like better than just plain Navajo
Fry Bread, which is unleavened, well-kneaded, with the
air beaten out of it, and then fried in deep fat (lard).

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add warm water, mix
well, and knead until dough is soft but not sticky.

Tear off one piece at a time. Stretch and pat dough
until thin and drop into a frying pan of sizzling hot
lard. Brown on both sides. Serve hot.
