Hello All!
I have a couple of functions safely tucked away in a library. I want to
transform this into a DLL, which may eventually be released in the public
domain with the appropriate interface. However, when I checked in the
compiler doc about DLL (Borland Pascal), it warns about the fact that the
DLL generated for the dos protected mode are NOT the same as the DLL
generated for windows and that any DLL intended for both DPMI and Windows
use should be compiled in windows mode. That said, 2 questions:
a) what about os/2 ? is a DLL originally compiled for windows usable with
an os/2 EXE ?
b) Since the code was written in Borland Pascal, is there a simple way to
generate rthe necessary .LIB so C/C++ people can use the DLL as well ? I
have emx and perhaps emximp could help here But i'm not sure you don't need
the original C code to generate the lib ?
Thanks.
